Wouldn’t it just be great if we all agreed?! 
On Ev-er-y-thing!

I'd like to think so. 
Although maybe not, considering it would be a rather boring place to be.
Sculpted by the interactions and interfaces that make our everyday lives. Our confident realities and opinions make up the uniqueness in everyone around us. Usually, also the traits I love most about people.
That being said they're will always be things we disagree on. Much like marmite, its just Love or Hate! On the other hand, there are also a world of things that are all Love Love Love! This shirt happens to be one of them!

Animal Print isn't something that would usually attract my attentions. In fact, if you haven't already noticed, I try and stay a safe distance away from print. Whether the silk allure or monochrome appeal, this one because the rare exception. Smart and casual all in one, it's a sure keeper and everyone that's seen it has followed suit…

Scented Signatures

 Fragrance is a funny thing. 
Our smell is a sense intrinsically linked to our memories, it’s no surprise that just one whiff and WHAM! you are instantly back to a distant memory, a place once lost in time. Transported 10 years in a matter of mere seconds by the scents that tell the story of your life.

That being said, fragrance hold such importance. The scent you leave behind is almost like a signature. Uniquely you. It cam sometimes says a lot more about you and your personal style than clothing and accessories!

Very loyal when it comes to fragrance, I hold on tight to my old favourites and find myself reaching out of the same scents day in day out like a second skin. Still, there’s something refreshing and uplifting when you find yourself a new favourite scent! You simply feel.. New!
 I recently discovered Marc Jacobs Decadence. Velvet in texture, it presents a sensual mix of amber tones and wood spices. Something about this incredibly bold and sophisticated fragrance has truly captured me! That being said, it’s a scent that took me a while to find, so here's some tips to find yours….


 GO BARE //
There’s nothing harder than choosing a fragrance when you’re already wearing one! Scents so easily mix and it’s hard enough to smell scents pat aromas already in store let alone being mixed up in notes of a fragrance you are already wearing. This also means you can easily try perfumes if you think you’ve found something you like

BE CHOOSEY //
Fragrance shopping is best done with a game plan. Head out with an idea of a what scents you plan on sampling! More often than not even if sampling 3/4, all the smells eventually blend into one. It took me a few goes, in and out of different shops to find this decadent little number.

TAKE TESTERS //
Wherever possible, take testers. Spray fragrances on different days, see how they wear throughout the day! There's nothing that annoys me more in a fragrance than one that costs a bomb and lingers for seconds before somehow evaporating into thin air. You will also find that perfumes sit and smell different on people. This is because of the unique mix of chemicals and pH balances in your skin. Also, make a rash decision without trying and you could be left feeling nauseous every time you try and wear it.

Embracing my inner Tomboy this week as I rock a little Sports Luxe.
I'm not really one for a look quite as casual as this, however this bomber jacket was calling me. Getting ever so slightly warmer, I was time to dig out some spring favourites. Bomber jackets still provide that comforting warmth with the overt padding and length of a winter jacket.
Bring out a bit of sunshine and I'll give you a little glimpse of what we can really do.

Life has suddenly become quite hectic, and I needed something suitable for just about every task imaginable, so as well as being a great outfit it also was highly practical. From garage to jewellers, supermarkets to luxury bridal retailers… the contrast was immense but this number adapted beautifully.

The Girl in Striped Attire

Your mind, as mine, is probably wrapped up in thermal clothing hiding beneath a mountain of blankets and drawing out a means to escape “The Beast from the East” a.k.a the raging blizzard currently thrashing the UK. 
Mesmerised by the dance of snow fall through the opposing channels of wind is one performance I could watch all day… I just thought you would need a little company from the other side of your screen whilst you wait it out. 

This time of year echoes an awkard skip between winter and spring for me as I look for the comfort of hearty winter warmth yet await the sweet bright calls of spring. Patterns and prints and a rare sight on Street & Rail bound by the single tonal wash there was no denying this pairing! 

Time to take this one outdoors when it warms up a little, mind!
