Tis’ still the season to keep layering. The bulky clothes, cold sweats and constant shivering requires clever ways of working with what I've got to stay warm all the while avoiding looking like varying shades of the Michelin man.

That being said it probably offers the most options in terms of experimenting. With so many layering options, outfit ideas are endless! 
Cue this combo. 
I woke up with the perfect vision of a suede skirt jumper pairing, what a shame that I don't actually own a suede skirt!!! ….I do however own a suede dress which with a high beck jumper, mimicked the exact look I was after. 

Not only is it comfortable as can be, but it’s a perfect layering piece. Throw on a sophisticated coat and over-the-knee boots like I did and your ready to go. Sun out?! Grab a pair of bug glasses and your channeling an extra glam finish.

Anyone who thinks fashion is just clothes, a mere necessity, couldn’t be more wrong! Clothes have an innate way of transforming the way we act and feel. A beautiful blouse or silky dress always has an unfaltering way of making me feel as though I’m floaty my way though life in a cocoon of femininity. 
There’s also something so luxurious about silk satins. Heavy in weight but softer than soft to the touch there's no other fabric that feels quite the same, or makes you feel quite the same!
I consider value to be pieces that support me most and most recently that value is versatility, a timeless appeal and making me feel special. Wrapping me up (quite ironically in this case with a will wrap blouse) in confidence and class ready to take on anything.  

Now, I just needed the perfect moment to compliment my outfit! Champagne afternoon trick did just the trick ;) Free-flowing bubbles had me fully embracing this moment with perhaps a few too many giggles, if there were ever such a thing!

L-O-V-E Actually

Now isn’t love a wonderful thing. That crazy feeling that flutters your stomach, tickles your nerves and make even the worst days worth it… even if it's a brief moment.
I must admit, I'm not really one to celebrate Valentine's Day but it's a day as good as any to make a declaration of love in any way shape or form. I've teamed up with the fabulous Mika Jewels to feature their golden Love Actually necklace. I don’t think the word "LOVE" could be written in enough places and while it takes on a world of meaning depending on the sender and the context there can be nothing better to celebrate!

This year my main focus is me! My biggest life lesson I took away from 2017 was to be more selfish! We so rarely remember to give ourselves credit, so keep it as a token of appreciation. Take some time out, treat yourself, show some self love. There is no love without self love after all. Better yet, the gift of giving is just as good. Your nearest and dearest, someone who truly deserves it. Just let to be a celebration of that wonderful feeling of which this world could never have enough.
