Other than the wonders of blogging, photography is an art I fell in love with a while ago. Switch sides of the lens is strangely satisfying. Peering down the lens of my DSLR focusing the blurred details we most often miss in the moment, capturing memories and milestones. Having the platform to share them on is just a bonus.

Nature, my love, you've done it again..

You've lured me outside with the your pretty petals and oh-so-green grass dancing in the sunlight, then wiped me out in one pollinated punch. I surrender hay-fever you’ve got me (…or had me since March). Whilst I appreciate so many of your other sensational seasonal delights, this one isn't my favourite. Summer days picnicking in the park come with a high risk that I’ll spend the next few days hiding pink puffy eyes and searching the bottom of my bag for a pack of tissues to sort the runny nose.

Sticking to the safety of the indoors where possible, specially since the UK seems to have been drowned in rain over night. We’re in need in a seriously large island-safe tumble-dryer if you know where we can get one?!

Time to get the wellies on and go puddle jumping.

Flash of denim coming through ...and this time it's a double dose. You will have noticed that I recently wore these jeans here, and honestly I cannot get enough! There's something so appealing about a blank canvas, and that's exactly where I started. White jeans (your favourite denims in reach will do, no matter the colour) paired with a white cami creates the perfect base for any outfit. London's getting awfully warm (no complaints, keep it coming...) but still not quite hot enough to leave home without an jacket, so throw on a shirt and your ready to roll!  This is such an easy look and I love the contrast in doubled denim shades. 

WARNING: Wearing white also means you risk spending the rest of your day finding a clean place to perch, or spot cleaning the gelato you've carelessly managed to drip straight down your front.

I wish I had more jumpsuits in my life. They are if anything, practical! Having said that, there's also something incredibly intriguing about looking somewhat like a sexy mechanic ;) I’ve always fancied my hand at fixing cars

…I guess this is as close as it will get!

I was drawn straight to this piece maybe for the colour, because although I find green a little sickly, forest green is something entirely different (as I discovered here) or maybe it was just for my preferred cut - Wide Leg! Giving a silhouette that makes your legs look sky high and a seamed waist to add some structure there's not many more boxes left to tick, aside from the open back detailing! I’m Sold!! The jumpsuit would definitely have to be my throw-and-go garment of choice. No matching of tops and bottoms makes dressing for any occasion as easy as slipping on a dress heels before strutting out the door.
