Nail-versary

For those of you that follow Street & Rail, you will know that earlier this week we reached a huge milestone marking the one year anniversary of my blog.

Today marks another....

Street & Rail's 1st Nail-versary!

One whole year's worth of 'Sunday Polish' post's!
That's one polish a week for the past year....I can hardly believe it myself.
Like the fashion collage, I have put together a nail-versary collage showing some of my favourites from the past year and hopefully many more to come.

In the mean time stay tuned for next weeks fashion post

Happy 1st Birthday Street & Rail!

Hip Hip Hooray . . . .
Happy 1st Birthday Street & Rail!

It is exactly 1 year to the day that I started this blog, which I have now come to see as a second home, and hasn't it been a journey!
Thank-you to everyone that has been following, my blog is nothing with noone to read it! I am happy to say I have survived a year's worth of posting, and hopefully many more years of posts to share with you in the future. In the meantime, enjoy the collage of my favourite posts so far...

I'm a little sad that I am away for this huge achievement, but I sure am smiling away somewhere under the sunshine in Malawi knowing I've just reached a blogger milestone.....time to celebrate I say!

Party Time!

Black on Black

Top- H&M
Trousers - Zara

My guilty pleasure has got to be all black...
I can't get enough of it!
Always offering an easy-peasy, perfect finish to every look, what's not to love.
Where with colour, you can potentially go wrong with vomit worth hues and disaster clashes, black proves time and time again to be fashions best friend and absolutely fool proof.
No-one gets all black wrong.

Take Care

Sunday Polish - French Tip Twist

Spangles - Black
Clear - Sally Hansen's Nail Protex

Classic french tips....with a twist.

This is a simple and elegant, modern take on what would usually be a old school french manicure.
I've seen this done a few time, and after having decided to give it a try I know I will definitely be doing this one again.
It's doesn't stand out as much as bright white tips, but it speaks for itself making an understated statement.

Love it!
